After two strenuous stages, relaxation is on the agenda today. The stage starts with an impressive highlight, the Grimburg, a large, partially reconstructed complex located on a ridge above the Wadrill valley. From the valley at Grimburgerhof, a path gradually ascends to the castle. Climbing the castle tower is a must, offering a wonderful view of the surroundings of the Wadrill valley.
The next kilometers are pure relaxation. The path runs through the lonely, quiet, and natural valley of the Wadrill. It crosses sides several times, offering constantly changing views of the primeval stream landscape of the Wadrill. The meadow landscape in which the stream is embedded is protected.
At the rock formation Frau Holle, we leave the trail for today and follow a connecting path to the stage destination Reinsfeld. Along the way, shortly before Reinsfeld, you can see a large beaver lodge.
