Saar-Hunsrück Climb - 25th stage: Grimburgerhof - Kell Reservoir "Ruwer Route"

From the Grimburgerhof, we walk up to the partially reconstructed medieval Grimburg castle. The climb up the castle tower is worthwhile because of the sensational view of the surrounding Wadrill valley.
We then hike through the romantic, secluded Wadrill valley with its beautiful meadows. At the Keller Steg, we continue in the direction of Kell am See. After crossing the Hunsrückhöhenstraße, we reach a ridge with sweeping views.
We reach the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path. If you want to visit Kell, you can turn off there via an access road. The rest of the trail leads through secluded forests at the source of the Ruwer. The stage ends at the reservoir in Kell with its numerous leisure facilities.
